Amazon Prime offers lots of great benefits and one of those benefits is credits toward a variety of digital content if you choose no-rush shipping at checkout.
"Use your digital rewards toward eligible Kindle eBooks, Amazon Appstore apps, Amazon Music downloads, or Prime Video rentals or purchases."
One of the perks of being a Prime member is getting most of your orders with one or two-day shipping. But if you can wait longer, up to one week, Amazon may offer a credit toward select digital purchases. You must choose this option when you are checking out. With the sample order below, if I select a delivery date of March 1, I will get a $1 reward for each item.
You can use Amazon No-Rush credits to get rewards toward digital content |
Most credits are $1, $1.50, or $2. However, you may get offered more than one, depending on how many items are in a particular order. I have received up to $4 in total credits on some orders.
If you love to read, buy MP3s, or own seasons of your favorite TV shows, you may be able to get them for free or at a lower price by using no-rush credits. I have used my credits to get free ebooks for Kindle, and if there is an Audible version, the option to buy it at a reduced price. This reduced price usually ranges from $7.95 to $12.99.
That's the good news about these no-rush promotional credits. The bad news is that they expire after a few months. You may want to let credits build up enough that you can get free books, shows, or movies. However, that requires keeping track of the expiration dates. The link to the no-rush promotional balance page can be a little hard to find. You can find it here:
Your No-Rush and Amazon Day Reward BalanceYou may have different credit amounts expiring on different days, so pay attention to the closest expiration to avoid losing credits.
"Your rewards will automatically apply at checkout when you purchase eligible items. All rewards expire on the specified expiration date at midnight Pacific time."
